  • Flock update

    so i used Flock pretty solidly for awhile, but recently the use has slowed and i’ve gone back to Firefox mainly for two reasons.  the version i had had a bug in it that make it suck up a bunch of resource and not give it back, which in conjuction with some other resource suckers caused some crashes.  reason number two is the placement of the close tab x’s.  now, this may just be my own theme or skin issue but it drives me nuts.  i’m used to firefox where there is one close tab x at the very right of the tabs.  but Flock has them on each tab.  so i’m often rollin’ on a bunch of tabs right? and sometimes i just want to close a few.  i’m used to it in ffx so sometimes i just go up there and hit it a few times.  well, with Flock i’ve closed quite a few unsuspecting tabs that way and lost my place.  dang! oh well, like i said, my problem. 

    well, i’ve updated my version with the non-sucking version supposedly and it seems to be ok.  i still enjoy the cmmnd+b blog post feature and i’ve only scratched the surface on the whole images thing which seems kind of cool.  also the whole social aspect i have not explored.  anyway, the coolness factor has slipped a bit but i’m back to using it a bit more.
