This is one of the most beautiful movies I’ve seen in a long time. It is a Korean work about a boy and his Buddhist master who live in a temple on a raft in the middle of a lake. The movie follows the boy through his seasons of growth from boyhood to adulthood. It is exquisitely done and deftly crafted. The cinematography is wonderful, showing the natural beauty of the landscape around their temple. It is very serene and peaceful. Highly reccomended. ****- (four out of five).
