imagine my surprise as i walk into my local Starbucks expecting my old but trusty flavors of Izze to greet me, but find flanked by Pomegranate and Clemintine is lo and behold…Apple! the long anticipated flavor has finally hit my streets. i could hardly keep my excitement in as i waited in line, inching my way toward the cold case to snatch my new taste sensation. i picked it up and commenced on my morning Izze walk.
the new flavor, is good. not great, but good. light and refreshing and simple. all that you expect from an Izze. it reminds me alot of Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider just less fizzy and bit sweeter. overall, it reminds me of apple juice, just kind of a more adult version. alltogether good but a bit dissapointing i must say. i’m not sure what i expected, but i thought i’d like it more. still, a good flavor to add to the roster. i’ll enjoy one from time to time but i have to stick with my truest drink buddies Pomegranate and Blackberry. mmmmm good drinking.
